...My best friend is moving away within a month. She recently broke up with her boyfriend, and today she put in her two weeks notice at work. What's more, I'm in love with her. I told her this recently, though we're still just good friends. Doesn't look like that's going to change, but I want to give her something to remember me by. I was thinking something like a promise ring or a pendant, though I know next to nothing when it comes to jewelry. I was also thinking maybe something with her birthstone, which is the emerald. So, would anyone out there care to give me any suggestions or reccomendations on the perfect gift for the woman I love? Specifically any advice on where to look? I'll try to keep in touch with her, though odds are I'll never see her again. And I want her to know I will always love her. And that I'll always be there for her. I love her, and I don't want her to forget me. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
I have an idea (namely jewelry) but I am lacking in knowledge (Where, what, etc...). Though any other reccomendations are welcome, thanks!
