...OK, I've been dating my bf for about 3 months now. He's a very down to earth kinda guy, romantic, funny, and he's really just a cool person in general. He really likes movies, music,.. etc.. but he has an MP3 player and he buys his own movies over there.. so it makes no sense for me to send him any music or movies. I'd send myself for his entertainment, but I cant do that..lol j/k Anyway.. I cant send him clothes b/c all they are allowed to wear are their uniforms and the stuff that they sleep in. That was my original idea, but now I'm back to square one with this. he has a digital camera, they probably already have video games and magazines, etc. All that entertainment stuff. He's been in Kuwait for 2 months already and is supposed to be there for 4 more months. He's so sweet, he already buys me gifts and I feel really bad.. I want to start getting him some nice stuff while he's over there too. I'm usually great at finding nice gifts, but I'm seriously stomped about this! Any ideas?

"Okay, I have been in the Military and deployed. When ever I got something from home, it didn't matter what it was, just that it was from home.
I would suggest books if he likes to read, they help to pass the time. Pictures are great, cuz he can show off his girl to his buddies (just keep them clean because his buddies will see them). Posters are great, especially of things from home like the local sports studs. Hallmark cards with a really nice sentimental touch are good. And yes, food items are wonderfull, everyone in his unit will enjoy that, but they do get lots of them too.
Keep in mind it has to be small so he can keep it in his living area."
