...My mother in law retired from her job last week, and my husband and I have no idea what to get for her as a gift. What do you get a retiree?? Any ideas?

"Make a gift basket of some of her favorite things.
A good book, some relaxing bath items, a little bag of money so she can enjoy her retirement and take a day to shop for something she wants.
I did this for my mom. I bought a little velvet bag with tassels and inside I put 300.00 dollars and a note telling her to take a day just for herself to do whatever she wanted.
then sign it, love the kids and make it a great retirement.
