...My friend is getting married in about two weeks and I have no idea what to buy her. I write poetry, so I was thinking of maybe writing a poem for her, and getting it framed. Is this a good idea?

"To be honest-when you are first married, you need a lot of stuff. I got a few decorative things but needed cookie sheets and utensils that no one had gotten me. I think the gesture is nice but perhaps pair it with something practical from her gift list.
She might enjoy it! But also think about her having a new home to fill."
